Azerbaijan Automobile Federation and Baku City Circuit Operations Company with the participation of Baku Marshals Club organized a large-scale training meeting for Formula 1 marshals on May 14. 

The major purpose of these regular training sessions organized by the Baku City Circuit Operations Company, and the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation as part of the preparation program for Formula 1 is to keep the level of preparation of local marshals at the highest level and increase their professionalism.

During the training sessions, medical interventions, firefighting, elimination of the consequences of accidents on the track, and other necessary operations were carried out in real time based on various accident scenarios.

The sessions were followed by the examination of the equipment used by the marshals during Formula 1 races, an exhibition of the used clothing, communications and signaling devices, and other equipment.

The next Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on June 10-12 this year. 1400 local marshals are involved in the management of the race.
