The annual meeting of the General Assembly of the International Automobile Federation was held in Paris from December 13 to 17.
Our country was represented at the meeting by the delegation led by Anar Alakbarov, President of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation.
Mohammed Ahmad Bin Sulayem, former rally driver and president of the Automobile and Touring Club of the United Arab Emirates, was elected as the new FIA president. He replaced Jean Todt, who had headed the International Automobile Federation since October 2009.
