On August 26, an exhibition of classic cars was held in Baku under the auspices of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF) and Zhara Events. The exhibition, which was held in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center, featured vintage cars registered for the parade to be held on August 27, as well as a selection of vehicles displayed at the car exhibition inside the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The exhibition showcased over 140 cars, including a distinctive vehicle. It is recognized worldwide that the creation of various art forms by installing different decorative compositions on cars is rare. For the first time in Azerbaijan, a decorative composition consisting of plant elements was created on the Gaz-M21 Volga car, standing out as one of the unique decorative-applied art compositions installed on a car.
Retro vehicles manufactured before 1983 were on display at the exhibition, with the oldest being a 1931 Ford Model A car.
It is worth mentioning that on August 27, the vintage cars will start their journey from the Heydar Aliyev Center and proceed to the "Sea Breeze" recreation center. An exhibition of these classic cars, having covered over 50 kilometers, will be arranged at the "Sea Breeze" recreation center. The audience will also enjoy a concert with the participation of well-known performers.
As part of the entertainment program, there will be contests and the presentation of prizes across various categories.
