On June 10, the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF) implemented yet another project for promoting motorsports in our country. A convoy of high-speed sports cars registered with the Federation undertook a rally from Baku to Lankaran, starting in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center in the morning.
In addition, the convoy included high-speed sports cars provided by the car dealerships sponsoring the project. It's worth mentioning that the main sponsor of the project is Nazar Holdings, along with such sponsors as Lamborghini Baku, Ferrari Baku, Lankaran Springs, Premium Bank, Karabakh Motors, and GreenCar.
The residents of the capital and the guests of our city had the opportunity to watch the high-speed and aesthetically appealing sports cars, which aroused great interest, particularly among the youth, from the place where the parade started—in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center. Sports cars drove through the attractive places of Baku before heading towards Lankaran.
A special educational and entertaining program was arranged by AAF for the participants in Lankaran.
The participants of the parade also explored the "European town" set up in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Lankaran. This allowed the guests to become acquainted with the history, culture, and traditions of the EU countries.
A drift show with AAF pilots was also held in Lankaran. The controlled slides of the cars and exciting sound effects provided an adrenaline rush for car enthusiasts.
After that, the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation presented the entertainment program arranged for the participants of the parade. Awards were presented to the participants selected for the categories "Most liked car" and "Most interesting style of clothing."
Participants of the parade took part in a quiz and answered questions related to cars. The winners received prizes from AAF and the sponsors of the event.
As part of the parade, staff members of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation also visited the Lankaran City Mixed Needs Children's Home, brought joy to children of various age groups with gifts, and arranged a lunch for them.
AAF also provided the orphanage with a number of essential household items.
AAF also distributed gifts to a total of 130 families of martyrs and veterans in Lankaran city.
It is worth mentioning that the major areas of activity of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation include ensuring road traffic safety in our country, developing motor sports and motor tourism, promoting and organizing freedom of movement with the use of safe and environmentally friendly means of transport, supporting the development of the automotive industry in Azerbaijan, organizing various car races, providing training for professional pilots, and supporting their participation in international competitions. In recent years, AAF has implemented multiple projects for the development of motor sports in our country. Among them, we should mention the projects involving offroad vehicles, karting competitions for the youth, V1 Challenge car races, and various others.
